Through October, a course of three Vivace RF microneedling sessions is $2,400 — $300 off the regular $2,700 — for treatment courses scheduled October 1–31, 2026. Single sessions are normally $900.
What Vivace Actually Does
Vivace combines two things that work well together. Fine needles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which sets off the body’s own repair response. At the same time, radiofrequency energy is delivered at depth, heating the dermis and stimulating collagen and elastin over the months that follow.
The needling alone would do something. The radiofrequency is what makes it worth doing. Together they address fine lines, mild laxity, rough texture, enlarged pores, and acne scarring — the changes that creams have stopped helping with but that don’t yet call for surgery.
A note on the name: this is the Vivace device specifically. RF microneedling is not one standardized treatment, and devices differ in needle depth, energy delivery, and comfort. We tell you which one we use because it matters.
Why Three Sessions, and Why That Is Not an Upsell
RF microneedling is a series treatment. That is not a sales structure — it is how collagen remodeling works. One session starts the process. The visible change comes from repeated, spaced stimulation while the earlier rounds are still maturing.
Sessions are spaced about four weeks apart, so a course started in October runs into December. Results continue developing for several months after the final session, which is worth knowing before you judge the outcome at week six.
This is the opposite of our chemical peel, which is a once-a-year procedure and never a package. We price each the way the treatment actually works, not the way that sells best.
What Recovery Looks Like
Expect a day or two of redness and mild swelling, similar to a moderate sunburn. Most people are comfortable in normal routines the next day and presentable with makeup within 24 to 48 hours.
That is considerably less downtime than a medium-depth peel, which is the trade-off: gentler recovery, but you are committing to a series rather than a single appointment. Sun protection afterward still matters. Freshly treated skin is more vulnerable to UV, and in Central Texas that is a year-round consideration.
Who This Is and Is Not For
Reasonable candidates: fine lines around the eyes and mouth, mild skin laxity along the jawline, uneven texture, enlarged pores, and atrophic acne scarring.
Not the right treatment: significant sagging that needs surgical correction, deep static folds better addressed with filler, or active inflammatory acne, which we treat first. If you have a history of keloid scarring or are on isotretinoin, tell us — both change the plan.
We confirm candidacy at consultation. If Vivace is not the right answer for what is bothering you, we will say so and tell you what is.
Who Performs It
Your treatment is performed at a dermatology practice by board-certified physicians, not at a med spa. That distinction matters most when something is unexpected — a reaction, a healing question, a lesion noticed during treatment that turns out to need attention. Our device settings are chosen by someone who treats skin disease every day.
